Rukumeli Social Development Centre

Rukumeli Social Development Center (RSDC) Rukum is a non-political and non-profit social organization established in 2061. Until now, this organization has been playing an important role in bringing economic, social and cultural change with the aim of supporting the upliftment of backward or marginalized communities living in remote and deprived areas of Rukum West and Rukum East districts. Development, raising public awareness and social transformation is not possible only from the government sector, as a supporter of all types of state governments, this organization, as a supporter of all types of state governments, provides basic human rights, education, health and nutrition, sanitation, food security, agriculture and income generation, forestry and environment and disaster management and mitigation. In addition to working in the field, it also does capacity building work. This organization is working especially for youth, children, women, Dalits and tribes as well as disadvantaged communities.

Legal status of the Organization :

Rukumeli Social Development Center (RSDC) Rukum has been registered in DAO Rukum with the registration No-79-2061/07/26 with in Organization Registration Act. 2035. Similarly it has been affiliated in Social Welfare Council with the affiliation No-18298-2062/04/21 and registered in Internal Revenue office, Dang PAN with No 301982308. NGO Federation Rukum with Reg. No  - MWR RUK-27-2062/02/19.

Goals :
1. Expand access to quality education, health and nutrition.
2. Building a socially, economically, mentally empowered and strong society.
3. To guide the society towards prosperity through the scientific use of agriculture, forest, environment (climate change, adaptation, disaster management, sustainable land management, sustainable forest management and clean drinking water).
4. Improving governance and access to information.

Objectives:
Rukumeli Social Development Centre has set out 10 broad objectives aligned with its Vision, Mission and Goals as which are;
1. To work for the protection and promotion of children's rights and the attainment of quality education.
2. Improving health, nutrition and sanitation.
3. Advocating/advocating for the end of all kinds of differences and malpractices.
4. Conducting necessary activities for building an inclusive and equal society.
5. Conducting self-employment programs for increasing income.
6. To act for the food security of the community.
7. To work in the fields of forest, environment, climate change and disaster management.
8. Assisting in institutional development and policy making process.
9. Making organizations and stakeholders responsible for social accountability.
10. Conducting various types of studies, research, document creation, archiving, publication and consultation.

f) Zero tolerance: In case of corruption and misbehavior and violation of the organization's policies, rules and code of conduct, the employee will be automatically dismissed from the position.
